Crockpot Pierogi & Sausage Casserole

Ingredients

 

1 (16–20 oz) bag frozen pierogies (cheese or potato)

 

14 oz smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced

 

1 cup chicken broth

 

½ cup heavy cream or milk (optional for creaminess)

 

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional but delicious)

 

1 small onion, sliced (optional)

 

Salt & black pepper, to taste

 

👩‍🍳 Instructions

 

1️⃣ Add to crockpot

Place frozen pierogies and sliced sausage into the slow cooker.

 

2️⃣ Pour broth

Add chicken broth (and onion if using).

Stir gently.

 

3️⃣ Cook

 

LOW: 4–5 hours

 

HIGH: 2–3 hours

 

4️⃣ Make it creamy (optional)

Stir in cream and shredded cheese during the last 30 minutes.

Cover and let melt.
