Crispy Potato Chips with Creamy Dipping Sauce
Ingredients (Serves 4)
Potato Chips
800 g potatoes (starchy or all-purpose)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp fine salt (adjust to taste)
Black pepper, to taste
½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
½ tsp paprika (sweet or smoked, optional)
Fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
Creamy Sauce
150 g plain Greek yogurt
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash the potatoes and peel if desired. Slice into thin rounds (about 2–3 mm). Rinse under cold water to remove excess starch, then dry thoroughly.
Season
Toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional spices until evenly coated.
Cook
Oven: Preheat to 200°C (390°F). Arrange slices in a single layer on a lined baking tray. Bake for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
Air Fryer: Cook at 180°C (356°F) for 15–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Make the Sauce
In a bowl, mix yogurt, mayonnaise, ketchup, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Serve
Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot with the dipping sauce.
