El Garlic: Nature’s Mighty Antibiotic in the Fight Against Infections

Ingredients

  • 1 whole head of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Slice the top ¼ inch off the garlic head to expose the cloves.
  3. Place on a sheet of aluminum foil. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with herbs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Wrap tightly into a sealed packet.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until cloves are soft, golden, and easily squeezed out.
  6. Serve warm—spread on crusty bread, mix into mashed veggies, or stir into pasta.
