Garlic Butter Steak & Potatoes (Foil Packets)

 

đź§ľ Ingredients (4 servings)

 

600–700 g steak (sirloin, ribeye, or beef cubes)

700 g baby potatoes (halved)

3 tbsp butter (melted)

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp dried oregano or thyme

Salt & black pepper (to taste)

Fresh parsley (chopped, optional)

Preheat

Oven: 200°C (400°F)

OR Grill: medium-high heat

Prep the potatoes

In a bowl, mix potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and half the garlic.

Season the steak

Toss steak with salt, pepper, oregano, and remaining garlic.

Assemble foil packets

Cut 4 large pieces of foil.

Add potatoes first, then steak on top.

Drizzle melted butter over everything.

Seal foil tightly.

Cook

Oven: 30–35 minutes

Grill: 20–25 minutes (flip once)

Finish

Open foil carefully.

Sprinkle with parsley.

Optional: broil 3–5 minutes for extra browning.

🔥 Tips

 

Want it spicy? Add chili flakes.

Extra juicy? Add 1 tbsp beef broth to each packet.
